Part Three:
The Politics Surrounding Fatima and Pope Benedict, Who Wanted the Schism

Chapter 1: Schism, Voice of “three” crying out in the wilderness, the politics surrounding Fatima and the Papacy
Schism
When I was in middle school a series of books fell in my hands and I (figuratively) devoured the pages, one book after the other, that memorable eighth grade year. There was a total of thirteen books and the title of the series? The Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket. Carmelites, on Sundays, set aside time for “Sunday fun books”; it is a custom for a Carmelite to always have a spiritual reading book in her hands during the week, where, thirty minutes is set aside a day and an hour glass is used to keep track of the time. A book on the life of a Carmelite or another holy book suffices, but on Sundays beautiful picture books of Catholic art can be viewed, The Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia and sometimes even Grimm’s Fairy Tales were read in the refectory on Sundays or major feast days (often turned into plays on special occasions). So, I think it was nothing but sheer providence that Our Lady, directly before the writing of this book, ordained that I read our favorite childhood series once more: The Series of Unfortunate Events. Why? Because it ties into the current crisis of the Church and the papacy of Pope Benedict, of course! It is hard to believe looking back that a children’s, borderline pagan, series could have anything to do with the current crisis or even be remotely helpful; this was proof that “all things work together for the good”. In fact, when I re-read certain chapters sixteen years later, I marveled at the similarities the books reflected in the current crisis in Holy Mother Church. What was the series about? If the title does not already give it away, it was a sad tale; an unfortunate one. I will give a long story short summary, but if I had to choose one word to sum up the theme, it is this: schism. And as I mentioned earlier THE standard of SCHISM per canon law 751 IS THE ROMAN PONTIFF. We will come back to that.
For the long and short of it, the series was about three children who lost their parents in a tragic, and unexplained, fire. The thirteen books were spent in investigation by the three orphans, putting clues together about their parent’s death NOT being an accident. They discovered a haunting secret; their parents were involved in a noble organization called V.F.D. (Volunteer Fire Department) and those who joined this “secret society” (the good kind) simply kept an “eye” on the city to make sure that everyone was safe. But… then there was a schism from within and something went seriously wrong. An institution that started out as good and noble, turned evil and greedy by the hands of its members (reminds us of the Church). Half of the people (just like those from within our Church) wanted changes (NOT the good kind) and those who opposed those changes, paid the price. In the case of the three protagonists, their parents paid the price with their lives because they refused to accept the new V.F.D. (compromise). There were paid false witnesses to smear the names of the innocent (the ones who opposed the changes) and a “fake news” organization, that of course, reported everything but the truth (propaganda).
In the end, the children stuck by V.F.D. and its TRADITIONAL roots of virtue and learned how to remain good all the while combatting the evil that forever changed their lives. The evil from within tried to eliminate all existence of V.F.D. by burning everything the organization worked so hard to build. In short, despite having their names smeared, the children had the courage to do the right thing and try to preserve the remnants of the organization their parents gave their lives for. The “eye” was the symbol of the organization, and you know what that reminded me of? The “eye of providence” that has always belonged to God the Father with the triangle representing the Blessed Trinity, but now it is distorted and has been used for the Illuminati Satanist group. The devil cannot create anything new, so he simply distorts what is good and holy, and something that carries symbolism on the part of God. For example, the rainbow belongs to God the Father, but the evil one has stolen it for “pride month”. What later confused the children, before they knew there was a schism from within, was they would see the “good as well as the bad” be seen with that symbol of the eye, which of course, led them to great confusion within certain circumstances, because they did not know who to trust.
The symbol was used by BOTH sides of the schism (to deceive if possible even the elect?). Does not any of this sound familiar by now? Father Malachi Martin is controversial to many because “can we trust him?” the faithful will ask. Well, all we must do is read his works and see what is currently unfolding before our eyes[1]. What he had predicted is, or already has, come true. He received support and backing from Father Paul Kramer, Father Nicholas Gruner, Ann Barnhardt and Doctor Edmund Mazza, who, are indeed credible sources deemed worthy of belief. They are, if you will, the “experts” of the Pope Benedict papacy and of the Fatima message. Especially Father Malachi, because he read the words of Our Lady. That’s right, the hidden words that explain WHY there is a city half in ruins with a Holy Father martyred.
“Malachi personally confirmed to me in 1997 that the “pope” who will lead the apostasy in the Church will be a heretic and an antipope.” ~Father Paul Kramer, May, 2016~
I find it quite remarkable that the Law tells us that the standard of unity is the pope and thus, turning our back on the papacy, indifference with “who cares who the pope is” or following the wrong pope can indeed be seen as the “standard of schism”. I think the first two are worse, because as Our Lord demonstrated to Saint Faustina, He can’t do anything with lukewarm souls since they willingly turn off their filter. But for the latter, though still grievous, at least they are fighting for the papacy (though through an anti-pope) and are seeking this unity for the glory of God! Like the mighty Saint Paul, before his conversion, all that needed to be done for him to switch sides was to have those scales fall from his eyes. This will also take great humility, because many of the flock, not all, but many, though good and holy, sometimes have logs as well as scales and it will be hard to admit they were wrong. However, this is what needs to happen to the elect that have been deceived with following Bergoglio into the antichurch. We indeed have two symbols right now used by BOTH sides of the schism, like the eye from The Series of Unfortunate Events, and for our case…it is two men dressed in white. One is the pope, and the other is the anti-pope, as Martin confirmed.
Here is Canon 751:
“Schism is the withdrawal of submission to the Supreme Pontiff or from communion with the members of the Church subject to him.”
Is not this very thing happening with Pope Benedict as well as “the members of the Church subject to him”? How many, in this exact moment in time, even the highest prelates in the Church like good and holy men such as Cardinal Burke and Bishop Schneider, determined to stake their lives on Bergoglio being pope? They are not submitting to the true pope, Benedict but to a false pope and therefore, is not this the standard of schism canon law 751 objectively demonstrated? Barnhardt made a helpful comparison here:
The Petrine See is THE STANDARD of unity/schism with Jesus Christ and His One Holy Church. Therefore, it is clearly LOGICALLY NECESSARY that the Petrine See be specially and uniquely supernaturally attached – let’s use the imagery of welding here – to the Church Triumphant, and thus to the Triune Godhead Himself [I am imagining the triangle and the eye from The Series of Unfortunate Events].
The Holy Ghost “welds” the Petrine Office to Himself, and the filler metal used in the weld is nothing less than the Word of Our Lord in the Petrine Promise: “And I say to thee: That thou art Peter; and upon this rock I will build My Church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” “But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and thou, being once converted, confirm thy brethren.”
In Ann Barnhardt’s video presentation she went through a list of interesting manifestations by Bergoglio that imply that he is not the pope, including:
-Referring to himself as “the Bishop of Rome”
-Refusing to wear the Mozzetta and other Papal garb
-Refusing to live in the Apostolic Palace or use Castel Gandolfo
-Waving, not blessing
-Retaining his Argentine citizenship and passport, even though the Pope is the Sovereign Monarch of the Vatican City State
–Refusing to answer the Dubia
To this we should add this quote from Antipope Bergoglio in 2016:
“It is not to be excluded that I will enter history as the one who split the Catholic Church.”
Ann continues by concluding:
This is another example of the Divine Providence working such that even the wicked and the malefactors STILL can’t help but proclaim the truth.
I think it is absolutely true that Antipope Bergoglio will go down in history as the man who schismed The Church. But here is what we have to remember: IT IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR A VALID POPE TO SCHISM THE CHURCH, BECAUSE THE POPE IS HIMSELF THE STANDARD OF SCHISM. The Pope is welded to the Church by the Holy Ghost by the words of the Petrine Promise. A valid Pope cannot cause schism, because he can’t schism from himself. As Sister Lucia put it, “Where Peter is, there is The Church… he who is not with the Pope is not with God, and who desires to be with God must be with the Pope.”
So, for Bergoglio to say that he could go down in history as the man who schismed the Church is an unwitting admission on his part that he is NOT the visible standard of unity, and that he is ontologically capable of doing that which is impossible for the Pope to do – schism the Church.
Therefore, who the Pope is, is of the highest, gravest importance and CANNOT be ignored, swept under the rug, or effeminately kicked down the road “for future generations to figure out.”
Is it safe to assume that if you are not with Pope Benedict, then you are not with the Church? Knowingly or unknowingly? I think Bergoglio will go down in history for having made the elect BELIEVE he split the Church.
Politics
You will also hear the argument about Pope Benedict of: “we do not really know if Benedict is the pope in the vision of Fatima”, but Our Lord gave us a powerful hint in his words to Sister Lucia:
In August of 1931, Our Lord said to Sister Lucia: “Make it known to My ministers, given that they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My command, they will follow him into misfortune.” Our Lord gives to Sister Lucia in Rianjo, Spain this warning addressed to the Pope and bishops.
When Our Lord commanded King Louis XVI to consecrate France to His Most Sacred Heart, the King ignored Christ. One-hundred years, to the day, the bloody French revolution began. One-hundred years, since 1929 (the official date Our Lady asked Lucia, in the presence of the Blessed Trinity, for the consecration of Russia), would give the world until June 13th, 2029. What will be the consequences of approaching the one-hundred-year mark without heaven’s commands being heeded? Can we assume it’s the Fatima Vision of a Holy Father being martyred? 2029 is vastly approaching and I often wonder if it is mere coincidence that both King Louis and Pope Benedict possess the number XVI at the end of their titles, or is it a touch of Divine Providence? As I mentioned in our preface, politics is heavy in the Fatima Secret as well as the papacy of Pope Benedict XVI and Our Great God, out of His goodness and mercy, sounds the alarm through His Mother through dozens of apparitions (Fatima as I will show is just a confirmation of the Book of the Apocalypse) and gives His flock time to repent and turn back to Him.
Father Phil Wolfe, member of the priestly Fraternity of Saint Peter, gave a homily once where he showed visible evidence of God the Father often choosing the one-hundred-year mark before punishment. The example he used was God gave the people one-hundred-years to prepare for the great flood and board the ark of Noah. Is not that fascinating? Our Lord gives His children so much time to turn back to Him. Unfortunately, as we have seen thus far, it is often His very representatives that have an obedience problem and because of their fear of men, rather than fear of God, or politics they choose to ignore Our Lord and Our Lady and the rest of us will have to suffer as a result of their disobedience and blindness. The perfect proof of evidence I have that back up canon 751 is that everyone today is willing to talk about EVERYTHING but the state of the papacy. Our last book, as I mentioned, was attacked on ONE section: the First Saturday Meditation focusing on the papacy of Pope Benedict XVI. When that happened, the Holy Ghost showed me that the devil is zeroing in on the rock of Peter.
For that reason, I am exceedingly grateful that section was attacked because now I know what makes the devil squirm the most. Since, the rock of Peter is tied to the triumph of the Immaculate Heart. I have seen these “politics” at play in the Fatima Center, immediately following the death of the founder Nicholas Gruner, including those who write and work for the Remnant Newspaper. Ann Barnhardt knew many of the people involved within these organizations and read for yourself her experiences:
People are wondering why Chris Ferrara of the Fatima Center and long-time columnist for the Remnant Newspaper would admit to privately suspecting that Pope Benedict’s resignation was invalid, and yet at the same time be so publicly strident that “Francis” is Pope. And, yes, I stand ONE THOUSAND PERCENT behind what I said on Episode #101 of the Barnhardt Podcast at about the 23:00 mark. On the evening of 28 June, ARSH 2016, Chris Ferrara said TO MY FACE with Mike Matt of the Remnant standing there, “We all think you’re probably right.” That was a pretty amazing thing for Chris to have said, and I will never forget it. Also, contrary to Chris’ words HERE I had met, spoken, and eaten meals with Chris several times previous to that in ARSH 2013 and ARSH 2014, most notably at the restaurant “da Roberto” on the Borgo Pio in Rome immediately after Bergoglio’s “faux-election” on the evening of 13 March, ARSH 2013. I had a piece of lasagna. So, his memory is a little spotty, it seems.
Here’s the context that explains why Chris might be caught between the two positions: Chris Ferrara’s spiritual father, Fr. Nicholas Gruner, the founder of the Fatima Center, was TOTALLY BiP (BiP stands for “Benedict is Pope”) very early on in the Bergoglian Antipapacy. Fr. Nicholas Gruner was a canonist who honed in on Canon 332.2 and the MUNUS-MINISTERIUM distinction. Sadly, Fr. Gruner died suddenly of a heart attack in ARSH 2015, over a year before +Georg Gänswein gave his watershed speech at the Gregorian in Rome which was the main impetus for my “BiPping” in June of ARSH 2016. And, yes, Fr. Nicholas Gruner commemorated Pope Benedict at the Te Igitur when he offered the Holy Sacrifice.
Do I have proof of this? Yes, I absolutely do. Here is a video that was originally posted on the Fatima Center’s YouTube channel, but was PULLED by the Fatima Center leadership [see footnotes]. Somehow, Louie Verrecchio managed to get his hands on a version of it and posted this excerpt to his Vimeo Channel for posterity. This is Fr. Gruner on 14 November, ARSH 2014. Fr. Gruner explicitly discusses the canonical invalidity of Pope Benedict’s attempted resignation at the 5:00 mark. He mis-speaks at one point when he says “2012” instead of “2013” as the date of Pope Benedict’s attempted resignation.
Remember well, in June of ARSH 2016, the last time I saw Ferrara in person, he stormed up to me while I was chatting with Mike Matt and said:
“Look. We all think you’re probably right about Bergoglio, but who do you think you are to be publicly declaring it?”
My answer is simple: WHO DO I HAVE TO BE?
More sad confirmation by another Fatima Center insider…
Folks, there’s more to this, including the blocking of an autopsy of Fr. Gruner’s body, and the fact that Fr. Gruner died intestate [not having made a will before death] and had six figures in billion stacked in his home, as just one part of his sizable estate.

I can confirm that this kind of back room dealing, and drama was going on between those involved with the Fatima Center and Catholic Family News. The main focus of the attack was Fr. Paul Kramer AND the current Vice President of the Canadian Fatima Center, Andrew Cesanek. Apparently, the Novus Ordo clique of John Salza, Robert Siscoe, Chris Ferrara, and Michael Matt had to wait until the death of John Vennari to chop a whole slew of us from the Fatima Center because we did not fit into the Ralliement “Rally to Rome” agenda (i.e., fit in nicely into one of the wings of the Modernist Novus Ordo church and treat Francis as if he were simply a wandering idiot who was being maliciously manipulated to say and do all the things that he was saying and doing, not to mention daring to question the legitimacy of such a man laying claim to the Chair of Peter). The clique was worried that Fr. Kramer would take over the Canadian Fatima Center and use Andrew Cesanek, who would be ordained a priest by Bishop Richard Williamson — or so they said that this was the plan, to run the Center. I heard about this from John Vennari in 2015.
I know that John and Chris Ferrara and John Salza were very upset about the possibility of this “takeover.” I have first-hand knowledge of this. What I did not know about was the million dollars from a donor that would be used to cut out “sedevacantists,””resignationists,” or those who seemed to be against yoking the Fatima Center and Catholic Family News with the Modernist Novus Ordo church. The whole money-making operation depended on endlessly petitioning Francis to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary — perhaps Russia will consecrate Francis to the Immaculate Heart of Mary so that HE might be converted. We are supposed to continue to do this even though we know that Francis is against people converting to the Catholic Faith and that the “Sister Lucy,” which the Ferrara/Salza clique accept as the real Sister Lucy even though we have offered reams of scientific evidence to show that there was an imposter going on, explicitly said in televised interviews that “conversion” only meant conversion to liberal democracy and not to the Catholic Faith. A million dollars leveraged to keep the apple cart upright. No need for reality to interfere with a $4 million operation.
The most interesting thing to note in all of this is that Father Paul Kramer, once the right-hand man to Father Gruner, is now shunned by the current new Fatima Center and has held firm to holding Father Gruner’s view of Benedict being pope. In fact, the last time he saw Father Gruner before his death, Gruner asked Kramer to write a book proving that Benedict is pope and during all of this John Salza has dedicated blogs to smearing the names of Ann Barnhardt and Father Kramer in ways that no real Catholic would ever attempt if they had true charity in their hearts. Does not all this also remind you of the schism I spoke of from The Series of Unfortunate Events? Many of the characters in those books were once friends and when the schism occurred, the term friendship was non-existent. Do you notice that the “schism” is focused on one thing? After all, it is the “standard”:
Bergoglio verses Benedict
And those on the side of Bergoglio look on those who stand by Benedict as “insane”, “conspiracy theorists” and even if they say, “deep down we think Benedict really is pope” but because of their lack of courage, they choose to schism from the true pope and cling to Bergoglio because well, “everyone else is doing it.” C.S. Lewis was brilliant when he said, “how monotonously alike all the great tyrants and conquerors have been; how gloriously different are the saints. But there must be a real giving up of the self.” How many people, when it comes right down to it, are really willing to die for the doctrine of Christ? In our case, the “doctrine of the papacy” as I relayed in Part Two with how the Roman Breviary said the “Chair of Peter” or the “Chair of Moses” means “doctrine”. The sad answer to that question is VERY FEW are willing to shed their blood for Christ in this weak generation of effeminacy. And as Saint John and Saint Paul said, “Many will not endure sound doctrine” and “Anyone who advances and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ, has not God; he who abides in the doctrine, he has both Father and Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into the house, or say to him, welcome. For he who says to him, welcome, is sharer in his evil works.”[2] In our case, it is the doctrine of the papacy; “sharing in the evil works of Bergoglio’s doctrine”. Which is EXACTLY what Benedict himself is doing right now, in this moment in time, with being seeing kneeling next to Bergoglio in prayer, sitting side by side in their white at public events, and even embracing one another for a photo. Benedict is not only accepting the evil doctrine and agenda of Bergoglio, but he has allowed it to happen by his substantial error for nearly a decade, now. I am concluding this politics section with this: the doctrine of the rock of Peter must be exceedingly serious if it is THE standard of schism.
Voice of “three” crying out in the wilderness
Father Gruner once said that it is better for there to be scandals than for the truth to be suppressed. My point is, as we have seen thus far, is that there have been many controversial changes in the Church since the 60s and so few have had the courage to speak up about it and defend Our Lord’s sacred ornaments; it is that “unholy” silence I have mentioned several times leading up to this chapter. However, Our Lord never leaves us orphans and has chosen three precious members of the clergy to sound the alarm from the 1960s to the present and it appears that each have passed on the baton to the next priest when their role is finished. Even if it be over political matters that could endanger their lives, they continue to sound the alarm for the wellbeing of the sheep and for the glory of Jesus and Mary. Who were/are these “three” crying in the wilderness?

Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre
If it were not for Marcel Lefebvre today, we would not have the Latin Mass. Consider for a moment these sobering words from Pope Benedict:
The entire recollection of Cardinal Ratzinger’s remarks reads, as follows:
1) “It is hard to see what the Church owes to Archbishop Lefebvre, not just for his ‘African period,’ but also later for the Church as a whole. … I consider him to be the most important bishop of the 20th century with regard to the universal Church.”
2. “Had the French episcopate at that time shown even a little more Christian charity and fraternity towards Archbishop Lefebvre, things might have taken a different course…”
3) “From my current point of view, I have to agree with Archbishop Lefebvre in retrospect about having his own bishops. Today after the experience of ‘15 years of Ecclesia Dei’, it is clear that such a work as that of the Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X cannot simply be handed over to the diocesan bishops.”[3]
“We have the recent statement by Bishop Williamson of the Society of Saint Pius X, who relates that a priest acquaintance from Austria told him that Cardinal Ratzinger confided (to the Austrian priest) that he had two things weighing on his conscience. One was his mishandling of the Message of Fatima on June 26, the other was his 1988 mishandling of Archbishop Lefebvre. Cardinal Ratzinger is reported to have said that in the case of Archbishop Lefebvre, “I failed”, and in the case of Fatima, “my hand was forced.” Socci’s hypothesis supports Cardinal Ratzinger’s alleged statement on the forcing of his hand.”[4]
Benedict was the very pope to lift the excommunication and this action right here is that “proof” Barnhart spoke about of Ratzinger becoming more conservative in his views as he grew older, even though he still has a liberal minded view toward the rock of Peter. We see other conservative views coming back on the part of Benedict; when he became pope, he directed that during Papal Masses Holy Communion would be administered only on the tongue and kneeling. On Lefebvre’s deathbed his sister asked him, “how do you know if your work with the Society is from God and not the devil?” With childlike simplicity, do you know what he said? If it is from the devil, it will wither away but if it is of God it will grow. And has it not been the latter? Everywhere we look there is a Society of Saint Pius X chapel… and those chapels… are usually packed. When John Paul II chose excommunication for Marcel Lefebvre’s “seeming disobedience”, look what canon law says in this regard:
Can. 1321 §1. No one is punished unless the external violation of a law or precept, committed by the person, is gravely imputable by reason of malice or negligence.
Can. 1323 The following [I am only choosing the one that pertained to Marcel] are not subject to a penalty when they have violated a law or precept[5]:
5/ a person who acted with due moderation against an unjust aggressor for the sake of legitimate self defense or defense of another;
In the heroic case of Marcel, he was not acting out of malice or negligence, he was facing “unjust aggressors” (wolves in sheep’s clothing) and he was acting in “defense” of Our Lord’s ONE HOLY CATHOLIC AND APOSTOLIC CHURCH. Just like The Series of Unfortunate Events, the SSPX have suffered some serious attacks of “dis-information” being spread about them and this only confirms to me that Marcel’s work was not only pleasing to God but a Society so hated by the devil that he resorts to malice so the elect will be blinded.
Professor Albert Drexel (1889-1997) was born in Hohenems, in the Voralberg Province of Austria and was the third of five brothers, who, like him, were all priests. He was ordained in 1914. He held three doctorates in philology (i.e. study of language, strongly connected to the study of etymology). If one reads through the changes being made to the Code of Canon Law, Section VI there is a reference to Fr. Drexel and his locutions. Wherein our Lord would appear to Fr. Drexel, warning him of a coming apostasy led by priests and Bishops. He said that this would signal that “the time of the Antichrist has begun.” The Blessed Virgin Mary, (which He, Jesus, refers to as, “the Apocalyptic Woman,”) is mentioned in every entry. Actually, Mary is front and center in every message to Fr. Drexel. I am going to include three of these locutions and if you desire to know the rest, see the footnotes[6]:
My Church lives in the midst of apostasy and destruction. She lives also among numerous faithful and loyal people. In the history of My Church, there have been times of decline, a desertion, and devastation in consequence of wicked priests and tepid shepherds. But the spirit of God is most powerful, and has raised up the Church and caused it to blossom again, but smaller, upon the ruins and graves of unfaithfulness and desertion. The work of Ecône of My servant Marcel: Marcel Lefebvre does not perish!
And this:
My faithful son Marcel, who suffers a great deal for the faith, is going on the right path. He is like a light and pillar of truth, which many ordained priests of Mine are betraying. Faith is greater than obedience. Therefore, it is My will that the work for the theological education for priests continues, in the spirit and will of My son Marcel, for the salvation and great help of My one and true Church.
And this:
Your other worries are concerning a doubt about the painful situation in which My son Marcel finds himself. He suffers injustice, because of this fight for the faith and because it was an unjust verdict given to him. But there shall come a time in which this injustice will be repaired in time here on earth: this son of Mine is a worthy servant of My one and true Church.
“Unjust verdict” is telling. The line that stood out to me was Our Lord saying that “faith is greater than obedience”; I am immediately reminded of the Masonic Law of the “reforms being brought about through obedience”. Our Lord was way ahead of His sheep, and this is where I will gently remind readers that obedience to sin is not Catholic, and it never has been Catholic. Yet, Satan knows that the faithful desire to be obedient; being obedient is a beautiful way to show Our Lord, we love Him, but this is where the Good Shepherd discourse is a gem, because if we can differentiate WHO we are being obedient to (shepherd or hireling) we can know what NOT to obey if it’s coming from Satan through Free Masons. Many have fabricated tales on the part of Saint Padre Pio telling Marcel that he was sewing discord, but here is what actually happened:
On August 8, 1990, Archbishop Lefebvre wrote a personal letter to a Society priest in France who had written to ask him about the meeting with Padre Pio. Here are extracts from the letter:
For several years now this slander, a fabrication from start to finish, has been circulating in Italy. I have already refuted it, but lies die hard; there is not one word of truth in the page of that magazine you photocopied for me. The meeting which took place after Easter in 1967 lasted two minutes. I was accompanied by Fr. Barbara and a Holy Ghost brother, Br. Felin. I met Padre Pio in a corridor, on his way to the confessional, being helped by two Capuchins. I told him in a few words the purpose of my visit: for him to bless the Congregation of the Holy Ghost which was due to hold an extraordinary General my Chapter meeting, like all religious societies, under the heading of aggiornamento (updating), meeting which I was afraid would lead to trouble… Then Padre Pio cried out. “Me, bless an archbishop, no, no, it is you who should be blessing me!” And he bowed, to receive the blessing. I blessed him, he kissed my ring and continued on his way to the confessional… That was the whole of the meeting, no more, no less. To invent such an account as you sent me the copy of calls for a satanic imagination and mendacity. The author is a son of the Father of Lies. Father Nicholas Gruner
Much more can be said about Father Gruner, but since he has already played such a role in all we have relayed thus far I will content myself with this: Father worked tirelessly to spread the fullness of Mary’s Fatima message, died believing Pope Benedict to be pope and his requiem Mass was celebrated by one of Marcel Lefebvre’s consecrated bishops: Bernard Fellay. Like Mother Angelica who started EWTN, Gruner founded something holy called the Fatima Center. BOTH of these beautiful foundations have turned liberal since their deaths and have, in a sense, been infiltrated with those who appear to be “traditional Catholics” but have an agenda of their own and for the Fatima Center it is to continue to stifle the fullness of Mary’s Fatima message. I think that answer is simple: politics. As soon as Gruner died, videos of him saying “Benedict is pope” were pulled from the Fatima Center website, and as we previously discussed, many of those who worked closely with Gruner and held is views of the papacy were shunned from the Center and no longer work there. And as Barnhardt boldly stated, “including the blocking of an autopsy of Fr. Gruner’s body”. Father Gruner’s love of Our Lady was profound and I believe it was this love for Her, Her Fatima message and the rock of Peter that gave him the courage to sound the alarm when Marcel passed on the Baton to him. God rest his soul; I encourage readers of this book to carefully read the footnotes of this work because valuable works, links and videos of Father Gruner are still out there and Our Lord desires them to be brought to light. Thanks to other souls, his videos have been found and posted on other sites outside of the Fatima Center so its heroic founder’s words will not be buried or stifled.
Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò
In 2018, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò released an eleven-page testimony that stunned the world. In it, he called out the corruption of the Church, especially with regards to its handling of the sexual abuse crisis—addressing most specifically the case of disgraced now ex-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick—and called for the “resignation” of Jorge Mario Bergoglio. And then he fled the Vatican. Viganò is not ignorant of the malice and corruption; he fled for fear of his life for the very reasons Benedict was having his food checked for poison (and people say fear is not in play), this brave archbishop knows about the Italian Mafia and other crimes that can and have been committed to keep the holy silent. Viganò did not “flee” in the way Benedict did; nay, this shepherd is a chosen vessel of grace and from his “wilderness” he has been sounding the alarm. He sent President Trump a letter of endorsement, saying that he recognized the very same struggle Trump was (and is) up against with the “deep state” (the children of darkness) because Viganò is facing that same darkness with the “deep Church”. Those expressions were brilliantly coined by the archbishop, just as Trump coined the phrases “fake news” and “drain the swamp”. Trump genuinely loves America, while Viganò genuinely loves Holy Mother Church. This 2022 Viganò even went so far as to say that Bergoglio is the false prophet of globalism and that the vaccines are the “mark of the beast” and a sort of “satanic baptism”. Fascinating when we compare this to John the Baptist preparing the way through baptism while Bergoglio is preparing the way through vaccines. And now, the heroic archbishop has finally come out about the current state of the papacy with Pope Benedict. Like Gruner, Viganò already is quoted much throughout this book and so, we know what important role he plays, but let us end this section with some of the archbishop’s powerful words of testimony:

As for my direct acquaintance with Benedict XVI, I can say that in the years of his Pontificate, in which I served the Church in the Secretariat of State, in the Governorate, and as Nuncio in the United States, I got the idea that he surrounded himself with inadequate, unreliable or even corrupt collaborators, who have largely taken advantage of the “meekness” of his character and of what could be considered as a certain “Stockholm syndrome” [i.e., a syndrome in which a prisoner, in a certain sense, comes to love those who have imprisoned him] especially towards Cardinal Bertone and towards his own personal secretary [Georg Gänswein]
To end this chapter, I must add something that has occurred in the last several days in the middle of the writing of this book. On June 18th, 2022, Georg Gänswein was in the middle of giving a speech and he broke down weeping a few times where he had to pause to get ahold of himself before continuing. The tears came when he began talking about Pope Benedict’s “resignation”. This was the same man who compared Benedict’s “transformation of the papacy” to the Immaculate Conception. Ann Barnhardt shared the video on her website (I encourage everyone to watch[7]) and she makes a remarkable point about how she does not trust Gänswein but she wants to believe that his tears are genuine and, a sign of a conscience. May this indeed be the case. Did we not just discuss in Part Two the power of the Seven Sorrows rosary leading souls to repentance and softening the hardest of hearts? Never cease in offering Benedict, and those closest to him, to the Sorrowful Heart of Mary. May we pray that Pope Benedict and Georg Gänswein repent of their substantial error, die in the state of grace and obtain the beatific vision.
In the final book and chapter in The Series of unfortunate Events, the character that caused the three children the most harm, before his death, had a change of heart and his last deed was a noble one. May this indeed be the case for Pope Benedict XVI.
Chapter 2: Third Fatima Secret according to Father Malachi Martin, Father Paul Kramer and Padre Pio
This past March 19th, 2022, on the Good Saint Joseph’s feast day I was given the opportunity to have a brief one-day retreat and looking back, I knew it was because Our Lady needed me to be alone to read what I did. Contents and summaries of Our Lady’s hidden words from the Third Fatima Secret providentially fell, that one- faithful day, in my lap through powerful testimony of Father Malachi Martin, Father Paul Kramer commenting and summarizing Martin’s words and, Padre Pio. The information produced sheer terror in me and for weeks I could not sleep through the night without waking up in agony. Even though I try my best to live a good life for Our Lord and Our Lady, and have no confidence in myself, but in Those Two Hearts alone, what I read made me weep and weep for fear of what lies ahead for the sheep. In short, Father Gruner was absolutely right when he said the producing of the Third Secret alone would convert people, make them amend their lives and the lines to the confessional would be lined out the door. I am including the very same pieces I read not to instill fear, but because Our Lady desires Her children to know the contents of the Third Fatima Secret. She has desired this since 1960 and the salvation of many souls depend upon the contents of the Secret. While I could not sleep for many weeks, now as I write this, I am perfectly able to sleep through the night because while I am still afraid of what lies in the future, my heart and soul can prepare and at least now I know what we are up against. Like Father Linus’ story about finding the enemy and being surrounded, I would rather know where my enemy is, even if I am surrounded. THIS is precisely why Our Lady desired it to be manifested in 1960; not only was She sending us warnings so we can save our souls, amend our lives and avert the imminent punishment of God by obedience to heaven’s commands, but because Our Good Lord knew that there would be an obedience problem with the pope’s failing to consecrate Russia and with the revealing of the Secret, so He sends His Mother to help the sheep in any way She can through other avenues.
When we hear how John Paul II’s consecration of the world delayed punishment, while that is well and good, we are not looking for a delay, we are looking for the punishment to cease entirely. This can only stem from a proper consecration of Russia, the revealing of the Third Secret in its entirety and the First Saturday devotion becoming a universal practice of the Catholic Church, so we can finally experience Our Lady’s Triumph of Her Immaculate Heart, which will produce the era of peace we have all been longing for. The Holy Ghost is never abrupt and so the reading of these below contents is meant to be absorbed so the paraclete of your soul can help you accept the contents, prepare for the future, and strengthen your union with Him and Our Lady in adversity. Preparation before battle is something Our Lady very much desires us to have, so we can face the children of darkness head on, not be taken off guard by their deceit and with strength of spirit we can have confidence that “if God is for us, who can be against us?”[8] This preparation before battle and courage to face darkness reminds me of The Lord of the Rings character Aragorn. Right before he goes to meet his destiny, beginning in the cave of the dead, he walks straight into the darkness and says, “I do not fear death”. May we have that same bravery for God Our Father and Mary Our Mother. We need to have the zeal of Saint Joan of Arc to fight with the sword, well aware that we may die in the process, but at least we shed our blood for Christ, trying!
Father Paul Kramer and Malachi Martin Fatima Secret Explained
The weaponizing of pathogens and the coercing of the population to be injected with lethal “vaccines” implements the agenda of global genocide formulated by the supreme councils of Freemasonry for the extermination of 90% of the human race. This is the most horrifying thing revealed in the Third Secret of Fatima, and is the reason Malachi Martin said that the churches would be filled with people kneeling before the Blessed Sacrament and beating their breasts and begging God for mercy if they knew the contents of the Third Secret. He said specifically that the Secret speaks of a “technology” that can be used for good or great evil—but that it would fall into the wrong hands and will be used for evil, and that there will be pandemics that will annihilate entire nations overnight. Malachi received the contents of the Secret directly from Cardinal Augustin Bea, who was present when John XXIII read the Secret. Pope John XXIII opened the envelope containing the Secret and read it in the presence of eight witnesses in early February 1960. Some of those witnesses immediately turned white and nearly fainted when he read the secret on that single handwritten page. He was quoted as saying, “this does not refer to my pontificate.” I have verified these facts from sources who personally spoke with some of the witnesses. Our Lady also revealed to Blessed Elena Aiello that “dreadful epidemics will exterminate peoples and nations”. Freemasonry rules the world indirectly through its control of high finance, national governments and international agencies, and relentlessly pursues its agenda of mass extermination. The Masonic agenda of exterminism is essentially Hitler’s agenda on steroids. I have documented and explained this in my book, The Mystery of Iniquity, which was written at the request of a high-ranking Cardinal during the active reign of Our Holy Father, Benedict XVI. Our Lady of Fatima said, “Only She can help you.”
Father Paul Kramer’s Commentary on Third Fatima Secret
In my post yesterday, and other interviews and conversations, Malachi Martin revealed key elements of the Third Secret of Fatima. Of particular interest are his comments correlating with what he read in the text of the Secret (given to him by Cardinal Bea) with the text of other alleged versions of the Secret. One in particular, he says, was written by someone who had read the authentic text of the Secret, because it contains elements corresponding to content in the authentic text. That version, though not authentic, was based on the authentic text, and was deliberately crafted in such a way that he could reveal the gist of the Secret without violating his oath of secrecy. Malachi disclosed in his interview with Bernard Janzen (and in private conversations with a friend who lived nearby) that the Secret says there will be pandemics that will annihilate entire nations overnight; and that a technology that can be used for the good of mankind will instead be used to perpetrate great evil. Scientists will create weapons that can exterminate entire nations; and that super rich member of the Luciferian Sect (i.e. Freemasonry) will gain power over the nations of the world. Cardinal Ratzinger had disclosed in 1984 that what is in the Secret corresponds to the eschatological texts of Scripture and what is revealed in other Marian apparitions. In the message to Blessed Elena Aiello, the Blessed Virgin spoke of “frightful epidemics” and “deadly weapons” that will exterminate “peoples and nations”. The technology that has been perverted by evil scientists in the hire of the Sect, in order to perpetuate a genocidal extermination of most of the human race, is medical technology. Unlike conventional armaments, which will only kill and destroy, medical science can work great benefits, or be perverted to accomplish the most ghastly evils. The evil purpose of perverted science is being served by corrupted scientists who have created biological binary weapons; a virus, which through gain of function research carried out under the direction of the Chinese Communist Peoples Liberations Army, unleashed a deadly pandemic; and injectable drugs which, rather than contain and eliminate the disease, will generate highly contagious and lethal variants of the original virus, for which there will be no remedy. The supposed “gene therapy” through deceptive propaganda and dictatorial mandates will be imposed on the defenseless populace in order to exterminate the vastly greater portion of the human race, and those who resist will be transported to death camps. The purpose of the global extermination is Transhumanism, which carries on with the Nazi agenda of replacing the human race with a superior race. This is the ultimate aim of the Great Reset. The Secret of Fatima and the Sacred Scriptures reveal the final outcome: the rich super-class of psychopathic dictators will be so totally crushed and defeated just when they will have appeared to have gained their ultimate victory, that they will be reduced to a state of utter despair, and will then be exterminated by the wrathful Hand of God.
Father Kramer comments on Melanie Calvat’s (La Salette visionary) interpretation of the Third Fatima Secret
The main point of the Third Secret can be summed up in Melanie Calvat’s words: “Rome will lose faith and become the headquarters of the Antichrist”. A heretic antipope will completely master the Vatican apparatus and consume Luther’s Gnostic Revolution and erect a counterfeit Church- a “church” that will replace the pope’s prime minister with synodality, thus creating a federation of the regional gerarchy. It will be a mass-inspired “Christianity without dogma” with no absolute moral, and will replace the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass with an invalid rite[9]. The true Sacrifice of the Altar will be abolished. False ecumenical religion will get state recognition. Those who follow the Catholic religion will be severely persecuted by civil powers. The real pope will be robbed and killed. Then there will be world war, scary epidemics that will eradicate entire nations, and hunger everywhere. There will be natural disasters that will destroy entire nations, such as Canada and a few others. When it looks like the Church has been wiped off the face of the earth, a pope and some bishops will come out of hiding. Russia, in danger of destruction by the Chinese Communist invaders, will be consecrated by the pope and bishops. Russia will be saved by divine intervention, by grace obtained by consecration. Communist Chinese attempt to conquer and communicate the entire world will be completely crushed. Russia and France, along with other Christian powers allied with them, will defeat and drive out the order of communist invaders. Then the whole world will become Catholic and there will be world peace.
Father Kramer with: “What lies in the immediate future?”
If Russia is successful in the present military action, the response of the West will determine what Russia’s next move will be. So far, the overconfident West (that thinks that the giant it has challenged to a dual is weaker), thinks it can impose its will. The West does not understand that Russia has deliberately cultivated its own “weak look” according to the doctrine of Sun Tzu. The West is not backing down from a fight it can’t win. If the West wins the first round in Ukraine, then Russia’s Plan B would be to wait a little while and then launch a massive invasion of Europe. If Russia wins the first round, then the West, not backing down, will further provoke Russia – and then Russia will invade Europe. In either case, China will be emboldened, and will move against Taiwan, and beyond. China will wait, and then at the opportune moment, China will invade Russia and the West, and will attempt to conquer the world. On October 17th, 1949, Our Lady of Lipa revealed a secret to the Carmelite novice, Teresita Castillo, which says (among other things) that China intends to invade the whole world. Teresita gave me a copy of that secret in 2007. When I explained Catholic prophecy about Russia conquering the West, and that China will then invade Russia and the West, she replied, “yes, that is exactly what they will do.” Without the consecration of Russia, Russia will be annihilated by China, and China will conquer the whole world.
Father Kramer shares Third Secret of Fatima according to Padre Pio
St. Padre Pio knew the Third Secret of Fatima — it had actually been revealed to him four years before the little shepherds. Saint Pio of Pietrelcina[10] revealed to Father Gabriele Amorth (the famous exorcist Don Gabriele Amorth) the prophecy in the Third Secret of Fatima foretelling the antipope in the Vatican who will be head of the counterfeit church. (The well-known Spanish journalist José María Zavala asked Don Gabriele Amorth about it in more detail, and summarized the conclusion of the dialog as follows: “There were two recurring and interrelated themes: the great apostasy in the Church from its apex — in accordance with the testimony of Cardinal Ciappi — and the introduction of the devil to the head of the Church by means of a pope under the control of satan.
In this context, Zavala referred to the exact correspondence of these words to the statement of Frère Michel, a great expert on the message of Fatima and author of a trilogy on the subject. He stated: “It will be the time of the decisive battle between the Virgin and the devil. A flood of diabolical confusion will spread throughout the world. Satan will penetrate the highest levels of the Church. This will be the great apostasy announced for the last days, […] the ‘false prophet’ who betrays the Church in favor of the ‘beast,’ according to the prophecy of the Apocalypse. In fact, as Sr. Lucia herself pointed out, the secret is revealed in the last book of Holy Scripture.)[11]
This confirms what Malachi Martin told me about the secret in 1997:

- Excuse me for insisting on the Third Fatima Secret: Did Padre Pio then relate it to the loss of faith in the Church? Don Gabriele furrows his eyebrows and puts his chin forward. He seems very affected. “Indeed”, he agrees. One day Padre Pio told me very saddened: “You know Gabriele? It is Satan who has entered the bosom of the Church and within a short time will come to rule a false Church. My God. Some kind of Antichrist! When did he prophecy that to you? – I inquired. “It must have been around 1960, since I was already a priest then.” – That’s why John XXIII was so panicky about publishing the Third Secret of Fatima, wouldn’t people think that the anti-pope or whatever was him…? A slight knowing smile curves Father Amorth’s lips.
NB- When Paul VI was elected pope, Padre Pio told Father Luigi Villa, “Freemasonry has reached the pope’s slippers.”
World War III will follow shortly thereafter. I read the following account many years ago, and recently someone sent me the text of which I immediately remembered having read long ago during my student years in Rome:
- One remarkable day in 1963, Padre Pio took a break to welcome guests in the courtyard of his monastery in San Giovanni Rotondo. In Foggia-Apulia, Italy. One of the guests asked Padre Pio about World War III and the Great Chastisement, both predicted throughout Catholic Prophecy. Characteristically Padre Pio replied by focusing mainly on those present. He said neither he nor they, the guests, would live to see it. But then Padre Pio added, pointing to a group of children aged between 8 and 10 who were playing nearby in the courtyard; those children there, he said, THEY WOULD LIVE TO SEE IT.
NB- In 2022, those former children are now 59 years older, meaning that they are now aged between 65 and 69.
Chapter 3: Other Prophecies supporting Fatima that predicted the crisis and schism
When one immerses themselves in researching a topic, and in our case of Fatima and the papacy, any past researcher will tell you that they found more evidence they were not at all expecting to find, in the midst of their quest for knowledge. I am 99.9% skeptical about ANY apparitions not approved by the Catholic Church. As such, I stay clear from those like Medjugorje (there is an excellent sermon on Sensus Fidelium about why this “apparition” is not Our Lady[12]) and Garabandal and thus, look to those that have been approved, such as Akita, Fatima, Lourdes and La Salette etc. There is a list of guidelines the Church abides by with approving apparitions, as well as with private revelations, as worthy of belief and they are as follows:
Norms for Judging Apparitions
On Feb. 25, 1978, the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith issued Norms of the Congregation for Proceeding in Judging Alleged Apparitions and Revelations. With regard to apparitions and the bishop’s solemn duty, the document states: “The competent ecclesiastical authority has the serious obligation to inform itself without delay and to carry out a diligent investigation.”
The bishop appoints an investigative commission of experts. For their judgment, the commission applies these four norms:
1. The moral certainty, or at least great probability, of the existence of the miraculous must be established by means of a serious investigation. The members of the investigative commission accomplish this by seeking out eyewitnesses, especially the visionaries themselves; by visiting the place of the alleged apparitions; by conducting interviews with any or all who can provide the necessary information to assure that the actual facts have been established.
2. The personal qualities of the subjects who claim to have the apparition: their mental equilibrium, honesty, moral attitude, sincerity; their attitude of obedience to ecclesiastical authority; their ability to return to the regimen of normal practices of the faith.
3. The content of the revelation or message: it must be theologically and morally true and free of error.
4. The apparition must produce sound devotion and rich spiritual fruits which last (e.g., the spirit of prayer, conversion, increase of charity).
The commission gathers and reviews all available evidence. After months and even years of study, the investigative team submits a report, signed by the chairman, to the bishop with their verdict.
*There is also five negative criteria that can be applied. The text is from Discerning the Miraculous: Norms for Judging Apparitions and Private Revelations by Fr. Frederick Jelly, O.P., published in the annual Marian Studies, 1993, p.41-55.
However, one “thrown by the wayside” apparition came my way, and the messages were so likened to Fatima, but more in depth, that I set out to see if others I look to as spiritual fathers supported this apparition. Sure enough it had support from Father Nicholas Gruner, Father Paul Kramer and Father Malachi Martin. In the summer of 2014, Father Gruner even went to the Bayside, New York Shrine to talk about his favorite subject of Fatima there. Bayside, for those readers who have never heard of it, is where Veronica ‘the voice-box of God’ Lueken claims to have been visited by the Blessed Virgin Mary, Jesus Christ, angels, and numerous saints. I was able to find the very talk[13] Father Gruner gave to the crowd at the Shrine, as well as finding Father Malachi’s reply to his opinion of “Our Lady of the Roses” in Bayside to Veronica:
Mario Aguero, a friend of the late Fr. Malachi Martin, had lunch with Father in a Manhattan restaurant in the summer of 1998, less than a year before he died, when the topic of Marian apparitions came up. Mario asked Fr. Malachi Martin his opinion on the Bayside apparitions. Although he expressed to Mario his disbelief with other major and more popular alleged apparitions, this Vatican insider and advisor to three Popes stated, “I believe that Bayside is a true apparition. For many years I did not believe that Bayside was legitimate but certain circumstances now have led me to believe that in fact it is a true apparition.”
None of us are obliged to even look into apparitions, believe them, nor embrace them, even if approved, as Catholics to go to heaven. However, when Our Lord sends His Mother, especially when the apparitions are approved by Holy Mother Church, why would we choose to be lukewarm about it? One of the things that struck me about Veronica was the treatment she received from the clergy (read our Misc. Files to read more in depth about her sufferings, ill treatment and why these visions were brushed under the rug).
“The apparitions of Jesus and Mary to the seer, Veronica Lueken, transpired in the Diocese of Brooklyn (New York) from 1970-1994. As the prophecies unfold today, the heavenly visitations have produced a powerful and holy site of pilgrimage and a vibrant, soul-saving Mission that reaches out to a troubled world with Our Lady’s urgent message.
The responsibility for judging apparitions rests primarily with the local bishop. He has norms to guide him, but above all, and especially as a shepherd of Christ, he has a serious obligation to the Church and the people of God to conduct a fair and honest investigation. And so, for many it was an insult and outrage that the late Bishop of Brooklyn, Francis Mugavero, issued a declaration against the Bayside apparitions in November, 1986. After all, he never even interviewed the seer herself, Veronica! How could such a flagrant violation of human rights and canon law be taken seriously?
Still a letter, good or bad, signed by a bishop carries considerable weight and, sadly, this contributed mightily to the misinformation, confusion and prejudice that abounds today against Bayside and that exploits the ignorance and fears of clergy and laity alike.
Here are the facts that you were never told. We trust that this will be enlightening and liberating and hope that you not only revisit Bayside in thought and prayer but also in person by pilgrimage. Meanwhile, we pray for the only thing that will ever repair this terrible injustice: a true, thorough, canonical investigation of the Bayside apparitions.”[14]
After reading the simple above excerpt, before reading the rest of the article that can be read in our Misc. Files, it began to dawn on me why Father Gruner traveled to Bayside and gave a talk. Then later Father Malachi saying what he did in support, and Father Kramer using much of Our Lady of the Roses quotes in his books according to the Bayside website. Again, you have no obligation to take any of these approved apparitions or private revelations seriously, but I urge you to have an open mind and open heart because Our Lady’s warnings are urgent and many souls are already walking down the wide path, rather than the narrow. When even the clergy, as we saw with Veronica’s bishop fail to go through the normal protocol, this is all proof that Satan is doing everything in his power to sequester the Fatima message when Mary chooses other seers to attempt to reveal the Third Secret once more. Due to the visions being so long, I included some in the Misc. Files but I encourage readers to see the link in the footnotes where the official website is found with all her visions laid out in great detail, detail that was a true labor of love, so you can take your own time to read through them. The few quotes I will include in this chapter only support the claim of Padre Pio saying Satan has entered the Bosom of the Church:
“As I told you in the past, Lucifer has been released from hell with many other demons in his legion of demons now loosed upon earth. Lucifer is in Rome and plans to destroy the papacy.” – Our Lady of the Roses, November 20, 1978
Since Fr. Malachi Martin read the REAL Third Secret and also knew what the Our Lady of the Roses apparitions said concerning the Third Secret, he would naturally have rejected the apparitions if they contradicted what he himself had read in the REAL Third Secret. But he did not; rather, he believed in Our Lady of the Rose’s message.
Fr. Malachi Martin said that the Third Secret is your worst nightmare, multiplied exponentially.
Our Lady of the Roses told us on May 13, 1978, “How I warned and warned that satan would enter into the highest realms of the hierarchy in Rome. The Third Secret, My child, is that satan would enter into My Son’s Church.”
Martin made reference to a diabolic rite held in Rome in his 1990 non-fiction best-seller about geopolitics and the Vatican, The Keys of This Blood, in which he wrote:
“Most frighteningly for [Pope] John Paul [II], he had come up against the irremovable presence of a malign strength in his own Vatican and in certain bishops’ chanceries. It was what knowledgeable Churchmen called the ‘superforce.’ Rumors, always difficult to verify, tied its installation to the beginning of Pope Paul VI’s reign in 1963. Indeed Paul had alluded somberly to ‘the smoke of Satan which has entered the Sanctuary’. . . an oblique reference to an enthronement ceremony by Satanists in the Vatican. Besides, the incidence of Satanic pedophilia—rites and practices— was already documented among certain bishops and priests as widely dispersed as Turin, in Italy, and South Carolina, in the United States. The cultic acts of Satanic pedophilia are considered by professionals to be the culmination of the Fallen Archangel’s rites.” (p. 632)
These allegations have largely gone unnoticed, possibly because he was so crafty in his descriptions that he might even have been referring to the coronation of Pope Paul VI. But he revealed much more about this alleged ritual in one of his last works, Windswept House: A Vatican Novel (1996). In this story, he vividly described a ceremony called “The Enthronement of the Fallen Archangel Lucifer” supposedly held in St. Paul’s Chapel in the Vatican, but linked with concurrent satanic rites here in the U.S., on June 29, 1963, barely a week after the election of Paul VI. In the novel, before he dies, a pope leaves a secret account of the situation on his desk for the next occupant of the throne of Peter, a thinly-disguised John Paul II.
According to The New American, Martin confirmed that the ceremony did indeed occur as he had described. “Oh yes, it is true; very much so,” the magazine reported he said. “But the only way I could put that down into print is in novelistic form.”
Martin’s accusation of a satanic ritual at the Vatican was also confirmed by John Loeffler, host of the Steel on Steel radio show. Mr. Loeffler personally asked Fr. Malachi Martin (who had been a regular guest on his show) about the reported dedication to satan within the Vatican:
“You know Malachi confirmed—the first part of his book, Windswept House—he confirmed the dedication of the Vatican to satan in a secret ceremony that occurred unknown even to the Pope at that time, that he managed to pick up. And I did ask him, ‘Was this true? Did it happen?’ And he [Fr. Martin] said, ‘yes, it did.'” – John Loeffler (July 29, 2000 radio show)
In 1999, Fr. Malachi Martin fell downstairs while in a wheelchair. Before he died, he reportedly insisted that it was not an accident, but that he had been pushed.[15]
Saint Francis of Assisi prophecies great schism and tribulation
Shortly before he died in 1226, St. Francis of Assisi called together the members of his order and warned them of great tribulations that would befall the Church in the future, saying:
Act bravely, my Brethren; take courage, and trust in the Lord. The time is fast approaching in which there will be great trials and afflictions; perplexities and dissensions, both spiritual and temporal, will abound; the charity of many will grow cold, and the malice of the wicked will increase.
The devils will have unusual power, the immaculate purity of our Order, and of others, will be so much obscured that there will be very few Christians who will obey the true Sovereign Pontiff and the Roman Church with loyal hearts and perfect charity. At the time of this tribulation a man, not canonically elected, will be raised to the Pontificate, who, by his cunning, will endeavor to draw many into error and death.
Then scandals will be multiplied, our Order will be divided, and many others will be entirely destroyed, because they will consent to error instead of opposing it.
There will be such diversity of opinions and schisms among the people, the religious and the clergy, that, except those days were shortened, according to the words of the Gospel, even the elect would be led into error, were they not specially guided, amid such great confusion, by the immense mercy of God.
Then our Rule and manner of life will be violently opposed by some, and terrible trials will come upon us. Those who are found faithful will receive the crown of life; but woe to those who, trusting solely in their Order, shall fall into tepidity, for they will not be able to support the temptations permitted for the proving of the elect.
Those who preserve their fervor and adhere to virtue with love and zeal for the truth, will suffer injuries and, persecutions as rebels and schismatics; for their persecutors, urged on by the evil spirits, will say they are rendering a great service to God by destroying such pestilent men from the face of the earth. But the Lord will be the refuge of the afflicted, and will save all who trust in Him. And in order to be like their Head [Jesus Christ], these, the elect, will act with confidence, and by their death will purchase for themselves eternal life; choosing to obey God rather than man, they will fear nothing, and they will prefer to perish [physically] rather than consent to falsehood and perfidy.
Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it under foot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor, but a destroyer.[16]
Fr. John Zuhlsdorf’s question
In any event, returning to the thing in the text of the Third Secret that was brought to my attention and that really bothers me.
Here is the whole text (Third Fatima Vision). The part in question is in bold:
“I write in obedience to you, my God, who command me to do so through his Excellency the Bishop of Leiria and through your Most Holy Mother and mine. After the two parts which I have already explained, at the left of Our Lady and a little above, we saw an Angel with a flaming sword in his left hand; flashing, it gave out flames that looked as though they would set the world on fire; but they died out in contact with the splendor that Our Lady radiated towards him from her right hand: pointing to the earth with his right hand, the Angel cried out in a loud voice: “Penance, Penance, Penance!” And we saw in an immense light that is God: “something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it,” a bishop dressed in white. “We had the impression that it was the Holy Father.” Other bishops, priests, men and women religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark; before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way; having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other bishops, priests, men and women religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions. Beneath the two arms of the Cross there were two angels each with a crystal aspergillum in his hand, in which they gathered up the blood of the Martyrs and with it sprinkled the souls that were making their way to God.
What bothers me? Not the part about persecution. That’s a given.
Note that reference to seeing an image like to that of an image in a mirror.
When you see someone pass in front of a mirror, you see two of them, the real one and the image. Two.
Hence, in this case, the vision involved seeing two figures dressed in white, one being the real one and the other being the image of the real one. And, according to the description, Lúcia says she saw whom she took to be the Pope and a figure that was not the Pope but an image like the Pope.
One figure the Pope and the other, close by, as in a mirror, not the Pope but looking like the Pope.[17]
Anne Catherine Emmerich
On May 13 (feast of Our Lady of Fatima) in 1820, the visionary Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich (died 1824) had a vision of two popes and two churches. Many are quick to misinterpret Anne’s visions, and these are typically coming from the same people who sequester Fatima, but it is more than enough for me when I see the current crisis in the Church and hear Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganó often referencing these below visions to the “two pope” situation:
The Church of Christ – which not only subsists in the Catholic Church, but is exclusively the Catholic Church – is only obscured and eclipsed by a strange extravagant church established in Rome, according to the vision of Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich. It coexists, like wheat with the tare, in the Roman Curia, in dioceses, in parishes.
Her vision of two popes (among other things) “relationship between two popes” and the “baleful consequences” of the “false Church” that would follow:
- Bl. Catherine Emmerich also prophesied about a “false church”: “I saw also the relationship between the two popes. . . I saw how baleful would be the consequences of this false church. I saw it increase in size; heretics of every kind came into the city [of Rome.] The local clergy grew lukewarm, and I saw a great darkness…” 13th of May 1820.
- Then the vision seemed to extend on every side. Whole Catholic communities were being oppressed, harassed, confined, and deprived of their freedom. I saw many Churches closed down, great miseries everywhere, wars and bloodshed. A wild and ignorant mob took violent action. But it did not last long.

- I see the Holy Father in great anguish. He lives in a palace other than before and he admits only a limited number of friends near him. I fear that the Holy Father will suffer many more trials before he dies. I see that the false Church of darkness is making progress and I see the dreadful influence it has on the people. He can now trust but few people. That is mainly why he is hiding. But he still has with him an aged (that’s clearly not Gänswein) priest who has much simplicity and godliness. He is his friend and because of his simplicity they did not think it would be worth removing him. But this man receives many graces from God. He sees and notices a great many things which he faithfully reports to the Holy Father. It was required of me to inform him while he was praying, of the traitors and evil doers who were to be found among the high-ranking servants living close to him, so that he might be made aware of it.
