Since the Carmelite Rite Breviary belongs totally to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, I saw it only fitting that I post my last video on Matins, in honor of Her precious feast day. On such a glorious feast, it would appear Satan enjoyed mocking Our Lady today, but his time is limited; Our Lady’s Heart will triumph. It is up to us to choose to have the trustful and composed disposition of Our Lady in the midst of adversity. As I said in my Seven Sorrows post: Our Lady handled Her crosses with such “faithfulness to seeing the hand of God in all things” that even the angels were astounded by Her fidelity and unlimited strength. Our Lord does not will evil, but He allows things to happen if it leads to a greater good, namely: the COMPLETE restoration of the Catholic Church- liturgy is at the very top of that list. The Catechism even says that the Church, in the latter times, will enter into another passion before the sanctuary is restored to its rightful state.

If anything, the evil one merely confirmed that Our Lady of Mount Carmel is connected to the triumph of Her Heart, and he can’t stand this. He often chooses feasts of Our Lady to carry out his sinful work. Satan hates the Mass of the Apostles; this notion is not rocket science. Sister Lucia of Fatima said, “She has already crushed his head”. Our Lady promised that the order of Carmel and its spirit would exist until the end of the world. Carmelites have such a great influence before God that many attribute the end of the French Revolution to the herioc CARMELITE Martyrs of Compiegne. With them, let us beg for that same courage to follow the Lamb to slaughter. It might very well even lead to our own red martyrdom, but in the final vision of Fatima, what do we see? The angels gathering the blood of the martyrs. We all have a part to play in the Body of Christ and if we are graced with such a glorious gift of love, let us do what Therese of the Child Jesus proclaimed:
