If you recall, in a previous post of mine, Gibson had Latin Mass on set of the Passion on a daily basis. What sets apart Jim Caviezel from any other actor who attempted to play Our Lord, is I believe it was not merely Jim who played Christ, it was Christ who played Jim in this role. Just as EVERYTHING in the Latin Mass has been consecrated, set apart, for God. So was everything, to the very last detail of the Passion of the Christ, consecrated for God- orchestrated by God.
